Painted Ridge Rabbitry is family run, and initially started as a 4H project.  Our first 2 Holland Lop kits were purchased in the spring of 2009.  You'll notice we have a bit of a sports theme around here with the first two bunnies named Mauer and Morneau.  Our oldest daughter started in the 4H Rabbit Project and in her first year of showing earned a trip to the Minnesota State Fair with Mauer!  It was a blast!

We raise and breed rabbits for showing and for pets.  Our bunnies live in a combination of outside hutches and cages in our "bunny barn" and love some free time in the playpen. They are handled regularly and are very playful.  We currently are developing our breeding program for our Havanas!  As of 2021, we have decided to phase out of breeding and raising Holland Lops and Cinnamons.

We are situated along the Minnesota River in Granite Falls, Minnesota (approx. 120 miles West of the Twin Cities) and are proud members and supporters of the Granite-Go-Getters 4H Club and Chippewa County 4H.  We are members of the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) and of the Minnesota Rabbit Breeders Association.
